I'm gonna try to post some stuff I'm currently working on. Right now I'm trying my hand at illustrating. My friend, April, wrote a very good children's story and has asked me to illustrate it. It just so happened that there was a noncredit class at PCC called Illustrating Children's Lit. and I signed up. It's been a great class, I've learned quite a bit and have also progressed somewhat with the illustrations. Well, I've really only got as far as the storyboard, which is what I plan to post next, just as soon as I get it scanned. From that I'm going to do actual oil paintings for each page, well that's the plan anyway, and I'll post those as they are completed.

Other than that, I'm still working on the same painting that I started about a year ago.... this illustrating thing has really been occupying my mind, so I haven't given much thought to this painting. But, if I do happen to take a break from the book and work on it, I'll post the progress for that as well.

And finally, I'll post any drawings, doodles or whatever I feel like posting that pertains to things I've been working on. More as encouragement for me than anything else. I guess that's really what this blog is about, to give me a place to catalog my time as I work on different projects.
